Our piercing team is held to the highest standard possible as per the APP Guidelines. Our piercers are continually educating themselves in all aspects of piercing, sterilization and communication. We pierce with APP Approved ASTM F-136 Implant Grade Titanium and Gold. We use Canasteel, Neo Metal, Industrial Strength, Anatometal, Leroi, Junipurr, Buddha and Infinite.

What is ASTM F-136 Titanium? Implant grade titanium, also known as ASTM F-136 is the ultimate material for fresh and healed piercings. It's 3 times stronger than steel, super lightweight and completely biocompatible.
All jewellery that is used for initial piercings at Tantrix is safe, and we ensure we have mil certificates to back up the quality of each piece.
What is a Mil Certificate? The material test report, also known as Mill Test Certificate (MTC), is a document that verifies the chemical and physical properties of a material
Why is this important? Why can I not use cheap jewellery or butterfly backs for initial piercings?
Jewellery quality is the first step to a happy healthy piercing, and it is more then just what it is made from, it is also the finish of the product and the proper jewellery for the piercing performed.
Piercing Aftercare
Wound Wash is a sterile saline that you can either purchase from our studio, or purchase in the first aid aisle at the Drug store. Please contact your piercer if you have any questions!
